Create Health, LLC

Under the direction of Dorann C. Mitchell, Create Health, LLC counsels children, adolescents, and families. 

Dorann C. Mitchell, ACSW, LCSW holds a certificate in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy with Children, Adolescents and Families awarded by the Postgraduate Center for Psychoanalysis and Mental Health, NYC, after the completion of a 3 year Fellowship.  She is intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).  Dorann has developed and implemented three Adolescent DBT programs, she was a past Director of Primary Children's Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic, and recently retired as an Assistant Professor from the College of Social Work at the University of Utah.  At the University of Utah, Dorann served as the Chair of the Substance Use Concentration in the MSW program, Director of Professional and Community Education, and the Director of Substance Use Disorder Counselor Certificate Training Program.  Dorann is the owner of Create Health, LLC.
